for all of you telus a670 users who have actually had success using pitpim please be kind and post what driver you used for your phone (and a link if possible), and what (if any) issues you had to overcome to get things working. I keep reading conflicting reports on bitpims ability to work with the telus a670 phone. I just need to know if i should waste any more time researching this. (btw, my computer detects the usb just fine when i plug in my phone, but bitpim can't find a thing. As i understand so far, this has something to do with BREW (also why Gagin won't work with this phone)?)
thanks in advance

after messin around a bunch i've found that i had best luck setting my phone as a SPH-A740 then clicking the 'get phone data" button (top left) doing this i can download my phone book info, but only up to number 99, then it stalls out.. i have been able to look at the file system tho, which hopefully will suit my needs just fine, since all i want to do is get some custom ringtones on the phone... best of luck.

Hey all,
I managed to get my A670 going under bitpim albeit problematic can be the only word to decribe how it works. I have several drivers I have scrounged across the internet. Some have worked, others just lock up/crash my system. The best method that I have found to work is:
1. Plug in the phone 2. Load BitPim 3. Confirm port settings 4. Click get phone data or switch to file system and try clicking the '+' sign until you get a directory listing. If you get an error, try disconnecting and re-connecting and re-click the plus sign. Eventually you will get connected.
Once connected, you should be able to use the instructions posted elsewhere to get games/pics/ringtones on the phone. Email me and I can see about sending drivers.
